From Nassau we anchored overnight on Allan's Cay. In addition to the iguanas (including the one that made me run like a little girl), I finally saw live conch not immediately destined for a plate. There were some empty shells, too, so I put the live ones next to them hoping no one would notice they were alive. The iguanas live underground and we saw many trails throughout the island. They are a protected species here. I think I read somewhere that the old monster movies sometimes used iguanas. Pretty cool.
